🥟 How to Make Dumplings
Step 1 — Prepare the filling
Chop cabbage finely.
Add salt and squeeze out extra water.
Mix cabbage with pork, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper.
Stir in one direction until the mixture becomes sticky.
👉 This helps dumplings become juicy and well-textured.
Step 2 — Fill the dumplings
Place a wrapper in your palm.
Add 1 teaspoon of filling in the center.
Wet the edge with water.
Fold into a half-moon shape.
Pinch and pleat the edges.
This folding style is traditional and symbolic.
Step 3 — Cook the dumplings
You can cook them in three ways:
✅ Boiled (most traditional)
Bring water to a boil.
Add dumplings.
When they float, cook 2–3 more minutes.
